WIRE THREADED INSERTS AND TAPS

Standard threaded inserts Taps supplied by UNI-THREAD are H.S.S. and supplied in intermdiate
(second cut) unless specified. Boxed kits contain Drill, Tap, Quantity of 1.5d Inserts, Insertion Tool
& Break-off Tool. Break-off Tools are only supplied in kits up to 1/2" - M12.
Inserts (unless stated) are supplied in 1.5D lengths. (1 1/2 times x nominal diameter).
i.e. M6 inserts x 1.5 = 9mm long.Inserts may be stacked or cut short for different lengths.
Please note for Blind Holes a Bottoming Tap is also required).
