Standard threaded insert Taps supplied by UNI-THREAD are H.S.S. and supplied in intermediate (second cut) unless specified. Boxed Kits contain Drill, Tap, Quantity of 1.5d inserts, Insertion Tool & Break-off Tool. Break-off Tools are only supplied in kits up to 1/2" - M12. Inserts (unless stated) are suppled in 1.5d lengths. (1 1/2 times nominal diameter). i.e. M6 inserts x 1.5 = 9mm long. Inserts may be stacked or cut short for different lengths.
